My name is Carle and welcome to Angle Assist, I’m an Owner Driver with over 46 years driving experience. I designed, developed and invented each tool that is available on this site.

The Australian National Occupational Health and Safety Commission (NOHSC) identified the need for a national strategy to reduce truck driver and loader accidents whilst complying to transport regulations to restrain freight. Angle Assist addresses this compliance program successfully.

The main aim for designing and developing the tools at Angle Assist was for myself and other drivers to be able to do their jobs safely by keeping their feet firmly on the ground reducing workplace injuries during the loading and unloading process.

And as an added bonus these tools can and will save you a tonne of time and money.

Below is a little bit of info on how and why I designed and developed each tool;

The Angle Assist Tool - This was the first tool I invented, I was losing time and money when the big freight companies brought in the new rules to stop drivers falling off their trailers stating that loading and unloading had to be done via using loading ramps or with a safety harness on, so I designed and developed the Angle Assist Tool, this tool allows the placement and retrieval of angles safely from the ground without the need to use ramps or harnesses saving drivers lots of time.

The 3 Planed Curved Angle - I have never wanted to damage any of my freight but this could not be avoided when carrying paper rolls using the standard straight angles, so I designed and developed the original yellow 3 planed curved angle, these curved angles can be used on any freight that has a curve or bend like paper rolls, hay bales, wine barrels etc. These angles provide the necessary protection your freight needs and they have a 3 tonne breaking strain.

The Turntable Release Handle - I was sick and tired of injuring my shoulder when unhitching my trailer, I thought there must be a better way and that was when I designed and developed the simple & easy to use Turntable Release handle. This tool allows you to keep both your feet firmly on the ground giving you maximum strength and ease when unhitching your trailer.

The Strap Thrower Guide - I didn’t want to waste any more time throwing straps over my high loads, having to throw your straps multiple times just to get the straps in the right place is a big waste of time, so I designed and developed the Strap Thrower, the Strap Thrower allows you to throw your straps over your load and get it right the first time every time.
